Eating in Ayia Napa

You will find countless restaurants In Ayia Napa that specialise in various cuisines from around the world. Whether you fancy MacDonald’s, fish ‘n chips, pizza, French, Mexican, Chinese, you won’t have to go far to find it.

Traditional Foods

At least once you should try the traditional meze. Meze consists of four rounds of dishes: dips and salads, vegetarian and other mixed dishes, main meat dishes and finally coffee and desserts. The trick is to not overdo it on the starters and save your appetite for the meat dishes. Alternatively, you could ask for some kleftiko - a big wedge of lamb roasted with potatoes in a special oven for 5-6 hours.

Also you should visit (at least once) the taverns around Limanaki (Harbor) where you can sit by the blue water and enjoy freshly caught fish.
